Description

Climb trends right on finger ledges to an undercling roof and a convenient ramp up to the top. Cool in the hot weather, can be chimneyed with the opposite wall for an easier climb.
Direct variation (5.11) goes directly up to the undercling roof

Location

In the Great Chimney area behind the Great Flake.

Protection

Bolted TR anchor setup from above by hopping across gaps and careful downclimbing.

good fun to do laps up and down (not using the chimney) to the last jug before the roof. Apr 16, 2010

FOUND 10/18/15 - Stopper nut placed in the crack on the top of the roof. If you left/lost it, contact me with a description (brand, size, biner color) and I'll be happy to return it (especially in person for more climbing!) Thanks, Tim, for showing me this area; great training ground for new climbers! Oct 26, 2015

Fun lead, with a cool style. Didn't know where the anchors were at first until i topped out. After getting over the roof section, continuing up the ramp, placed gear got off the ramp to the right via good edges and 1 or two jugs, headed up and right passed a cool but hollow flake and finally topped out. If going this route extend under and over the roof. Cheers! May 13, 2018
