One of several fun face climbs in Jimmywood. A thin start on a vertical face leads to a positive ledge. Move up and right to a nice jug, then straight up the face on balancy moves and crimpers to the anchors.

Jimmywood section, left of Diamond Cutter.

3-4 bolts, bolted anchors.

Has this route changed from the original route? Found two bolts up a slab to the left of Diamond Cutter, but then it traversed out left to another two bolts and face climbing to a single hanger with a link. Fun, but different than the description. Dec 21, 2010

A perfect 5.9. First bolt is high, but holds are positive. Crux is between the 3rd and 4th bolt, and there are a few different approaches to make the clip.

Any beta on continuing on to climb either Arete Butler or Carpet Bagger? Above the anchors for Mammy, there is about 30-40 feet of juggy scrambling to what may be the next belay ledge to start either of the upper climbs. Where is the best belay ledge for the upper climbs, directly above Mammy's anchors, or up farther past the juggy scrambling? Sep 2, 2013

Climbed Arete Butler this weekend. 2-bolt belay ledge above loose juggy rock for Arete Butler. Sep 16, 2013

Am I right in saying that this route is just left of the big crack by the tree? I was just there this weekend and the Chatt Steel guidebook left me a little confused here at the time. Mar 13, 2014
