Description

Start just left of Tom Bombadil and head up to the bolts. There is an obvious corner arete. Climb up; you can not miss the route.

Protection

Bolts, maybe some gear. I could not find any gear after the last bolt. Gear anchor, medium cams.

Do this route if you're climbing in the campground; yet another fine tick on a lazy day. Nov 15, 2006

a little harder than vogel's 5.8...and i'm not sure how it got its name as allen is still alive and kicking...

there's a smallish cam in a horizontal about 20' above the second bolt, 15' below the anchor, eases the stress somewhat if you're close to your limit on this one. Apr 14, 2009
