Description

Ascend the face/arete left of Monkey Puzzle. Good stone with balancey moves.

Protection

Five draws and a rope.

The flake that houses the right bolt on the anchor seems to flex a little. Not sure if this is a concern or not Jan 19, 2015

Going straight up the bolts felt harder than .11a, seemed solid .11 or even .11+ to me. Cool moves that don't look like they'll go from the ground. Mar 17, 2009

Another excellent route. The easiest line moves left at the first bolt and works the crack before stepping right to the arete at the second bolt. From here, delicate thin face moves lead to the top. Done this way, the route seemed easier than 11a.

There are four bolts on the route; not five. The first bolt is quite high, but the climbing up to it is easy. Oct 26, 2004
