Description
This region consists of the climbing areas North East of Little Rock. The crags are somewhat closer to the center of the state than the east side of the state, but all of these crags tend to be a few hours east of the rest of the established climbing in North Arkansas. Rock is generally good quality sandstone, and the conditions at these areas will be similar to those in the rest of the state.
The best area in the east side region is Jamestown Crag, which hosts many routes and bouldering problems at a range of difficulties. More development is going on in this region all the time, though.
