Description Suggest change

This is a hidden gem of public land on a rather large tract of Cherokee WMA located just outside of Hopewell, AR. Best guess is that this is Atoka Sandstone. Rock quality varies heavily and can be soft and sandy in one area of cliff and due to geochemical case hardening can be bullet hard around the next corner. Surprisingly tall routes are bolted out here along with a several handfuls of great boulder problems and much to explore and develop.

Getting There Suggest change

This area can be accessed year round from the Upper WMA access off of Yuba Road or seasonally (during deer season Sept-Feb) from the lower access coming in from County Line Rd.
