SPECIAL NOTICE: due to nesting condors the Machete Ridge area may be closed, from Dos Equis / Corona on west face then west around the south side to The Hideout including the popular Old Original. Check the NPS and Friends of Pinnacles websites for further information.

Description

Some hard and historic routes on this side of the Monolith with good rock and only late afternoon sun(if that).

Getting There

Hike up the Moses Spring Trail for 0.7mi from the upper east side parking lot. The trail first hits the junction of the north and west faces. Scramble around to the west to reach the routes.
