Description
Crowley Towers describes a series of five pinnacles, called towers, which are on a ridge above and to the north of the Balconies. It contains a number of short, moderate routes.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: in 2024 a pair of condors are nesting at CrowleyTowers so the entire area is closed until further notice. More information is located here:
Getting There
The easiest way to get to the Crowley Towers is to park on the West side and head toward the Balconies. Follow the Balconies Trail up passing the Flumes Formation on the left. At the top of the Flumes Formation where the Balconies Trail makes a sharp right turn find a climbers trail heading west up to the actual top of the backside of the Flumes Formation. From there follow a faint climbers trail up and north through a brush covered hillside towered the towers. Careful route finding can provide a brush free approach.
