Getting weather forecast...

Description

North Facing wall with a wide variety of routes. The highest concentration of trad lines are found here, and a couple really good 5.12s.

A good warm season destination. In the summer, the left side of the wall is in the sun until maybe 10:30am. Also, the far right side of the wall goes into the sun in late afternoon. In the shoulder season, very little sun on this wall.

Getting There

This is the north facing buttress directly in front of you as you hike up the canyon bottom.

In early September, shade all day in the middle of the wall and some sun on the edges early/late. Anchors are mostly single biners on hangers, kinda dum. Nice hang. Sep 9, 2017

We're working on the anchors, so feel free to haul in some chains and quicklinks on your next visit, Zach. It is true that clipping the anchor biners can require a bit more attention than at some other nearby crags (I've screwed this up and twisted a rope more than once here). If there are any areas where toproping through fixed gear is a good idea, Eden Canyon is not one of them. Mar 4, 2018
