Description

A nice bit of slabby chimneying is marred only by an abundance of moss and lichen. Many of the moves are more challenging than they look from the ground.

Location

Toward the left side of the northwest face of Blair I, right of Ice Box. There is a walk off the opposite side on ramps that become grassy lower down, or a chimney downclimb (I walked).

Protection

Hand-size and smaller trad gear. A couple of contact points on a leaning boulder you can sling at the top.

Nice climb, lots of lichen, use long slings to reduce rope drag. More of a mental game than a hard climb.
