Sister Morphine
Aug 30, 2026 · Lead / Onsight. W/ Brandy. First route of the day. Fun climb. A bit thoughtful in sections, but able to place good pieces from stances just about the whole time. Good to practice somewhat committing moves with good gear.

Hand Crack (aka White Lightning)
Aug 30, 2026 · Lead / Redpoint. W/ Brandy. Much easier than my memory of the first go. Fingers section is a bit committing, but good finger locks. Hands feels pretty easy now, good feet in jams. Fist section was also way less pumpy and mostly true crack. Took double rack to #3 and was just about perfect. One extra #2 would be sewn up.

Duh Dihedral
Aug 30, 2026 · Lead / Redpoint. Waiting for White Lightning, figured we'd give it a go. Still a choss pile. Didn't feel like I was fighting quite so hard as my memory of the first time, but still not really anything to write home about.

Positively Fourth Street
Aug 30, 2026 · Lead / Onsight. W/ Brandy. Very fun. Great gear all the way. Positive jugs just about everywhere. Felt cruiser. A tad pumped by the top, but I was going slow and placing a lot of gear. Definitely worth doing if you're in the area.

Handcracker Direct
Aug 28, 2026 · Lead / Redpoint. W/ Kasi. I lead all pitches. P1 was fine, a bit on you right off the ground, but the slab and the next section are good, then the one tricky move. The hold out R is good, but its hard to get there. R hand jam in the pod, then reach high L. P2 is still just tricky. Was definitely thrutchy. P3 was a bit spicier than I remembered, but not hard. P4 felt quite smooth, especially considering how much gear I placed. Brough 3x#2, 2x#3, 1x#4. Placed all the #2's, one 3 lower down. Was also hot. Overall, P4 felt engaging but manageable. Descent beta: pop over the summit, bit of a down scramble, then down L of the ridge above you to a landing. From there, the trail should be obvious. Pretty short to get back to the ground. Def short-rope terrain for a client.
