Sweet Surrender
Jan 4, 2026 · Lead / Flash. Just as fun as last time; with it getting dark, definitely feels a little bit harder, but still got it clean. If topping out, don't belay from the chains; instead top out and belay off of a tree, we'll make it way more comfortable.

Everybody Knows Fire
Jan 4, 2026 · Lead / Fell/Hung. This this is a really fun climb but way harder than you think it's going to be. Took a 25-30 ft whipper on it, Dave caught me like a champ. When finally pulling the crux, there's a lip that you can grab and that's what makes it doable. If you miss it though you go flying. I'd say this is more of a 10a than a 9.

Gravity Boots
Nov 22, 2025 · Lead / Onsight. I really enjoyed this climb. Everyone said it was wet and harder than a 5.7, but I thought it was pretty great if you take your time and find everything. Would do again.

Fish-eyed Fool
Nov 22, 2025 · TR. Boy this climb has my number! Tried leading it, but didn't get past second clip. Did it again as TR, and still couldn't get past clip 3 (so tired by that point). Someday this climb will go, but today wasn't that day!

Lay Lady Lay
Nov 22, 2025 · Lead / Fell/Hung. This is a great climb that deserves more love! The crux is low (it's pulling the roof at the giant undercling), but safe. For me, I put a left foot in this little divot to the left, got a high right foot, got a good hold on the undercling (it's big!), and then go up to this hidden hole/hold with the right hand. Hold on and then drive those feet upwards. Once above the bulge, it's glorious climbing. Will redo and pretty sure I can get clean!

Sweet Surrender
Nov 22, 2025 · Lead / Onsight. This is a fun little jaunt. A little longer, but still straight forward. Take your time, it's all there, nothing too hard. Would happily do again (and good to take newbies on). It keeps mixing between lots of different rock feels and it's really pretty (orange lichen parts are my favorite).
