Point Rank: #10,944 Details
My first experience climbing outside was in the Garden of the Gods on Silver Spoon in 1992. For the next 6 years I climbed and bouldered all over Colorado and I competed indoors a few times. Then...I quit climbing for several reasons, none good. Fast forward to the end of 2003, and for the last 7ish years I've been climbing when not injured. I'm currently leading 9s & 10s (bolted) outside, and following up to hard 10/easy 11. Inside I'm onsighting 10c/d and hangdogging 10d/11a. I just started leading trad again and so far I've only been on super easy routes, e.g., Eldo/Vedauwoo 5.6, Boulder Canyon 5.7.
I'd like to get better at crack climbing and gain more confidence to lead harder trad routes. I love to travel internationally and try to climb everywhere I go - so far I have climbed in the Philippines, Vietnam, Puerto Rico, and Peru.
