Access Issue: No overnight camping on PG&E property
Details
Noticed several tents while walking into the emeralds climbing area this last weekend ( 5/20/17 ). PG&E (Pacific Gas and Electric) has posted several signs at the gate and other areas that state camping is NOT allowed. Please respect this so that access does not become an issue! Description
A proper challenge for a dry tooler. About six feet off the ground you'll want to pick a small shallow pocket left briefly to make a desperate reach for a high but solid pick placement off scratchy feet. At 5'8" its a full reacher for me.
Next crux is just after as you work through a section where the only good placements are underclings not deep enough to stein. Then a final scratch up the anchors on thin monopoints.
Takes a run or two to dial in the moves. Not easy but much fun. Good luck!
