Description
This rarely climbed route is not for the faint of heart considering there is a R/X fall factor. Not a route for a 5.9 climber at their limit. Originally soloed by Eddie Joe in 1975, Eddie came back with Don Evans to add a few bolts to keep things in the "insane" range. If you're looking for something very runout, this is your route.
The route starts on the same ramp like ledge as Dirty Dishes except it goes straight up a brown streak (just right of the first bolt for Dirty Dishes) for 55' before reaching some intermediate anchors (originally the first bolt placed by Joe and Evans). Continue straight up to a thin roof-like arch (good gear) and pass over it up to the second bolt. Once there, look out left and up to spot a small thin seam. This signatures the way up to the third (spicy). After the third bolt, continue left until the route intercepts 'Dirty Dishes'. Pass three more bolts before reaching the same anchor as 'Dirty Dishes (chained anchor). Rap 165'. Or rap on a single rope to the intermediate anchor (105') then an additional 55' to the ground, Have fun!
