Description Suggest change

An easy but somewhat loose corner leads to an overhang three fourths of the way up. Climb the right side up the overhang following an obvious horizontal crack; there is good pro to protect the roof. Be cautious of going far left below the roof as the rock quality deteriorates there. The overhang, which is about 5.8, leads to a short section of solid climbing to the anchors. Beware of loose rock for the first three fourths of the climb, as it will funnel down onto your belayer. For the somewhat chossy first section and the shortness of the good climbing, I’d give it 1/1.5 stars.

To avoid the loose climbing at the start of this climb and still climb the nice top section, climb Pigout Arete to the climber's right instead.

Location Suggest change

Located on the west face of the Dakota Hogsback formation, it can be seen shortly after walking around the prow on the north side. A decent size overhang can be seen 3/4 of the way up.

Protection Suggest change

A standard rack of cams to BD #2 and nuts should suffice. The 2 bolt anchor with quicklinks are still in good shape.
