Description Suggest change

This is a nice, all-trad route up the face that is a little harder than the route to its left. The route climbs generally below the juniper pine tree at the top of the wall. The pro is adequate but takes some experience to get the best out of each placement. Watch out for loose rock, and be careful yarding on unsupported rock features. No bolted anchor exists, but there is a nice crack at almost the top of the cliff that will take bomber gear. Belay your second up, and do an easy walkoff to the south.

Location Suggest change

It is the second from the climber’s left route on the east face of Dakota Hogback.

Protection Suggest change

A set of nuts and cams BD #0.2-2. The top trad anchor will take finger- and hand-size gear.
