Access Issue: Seasonal Peregrine Closure Details

The park closes on February 1st and remains closed until July 15th to protect nesting peregrine falcons. Their annual nesting spot is on the Shining Wall, though they can be heard year-round. Please respect the closure and DO NOT CLIMB AT MADRONE WALL BETWEEN FEB 1st AND JULY 15th. Updates to the status of the park will posted on Clackamas County Park's website - clackamas.us/parks/madronew… - and on the Madrone Wall Preservation Committee facebook page - facebook.com/madronewall/.

Description

Start 7 or so feet left of Life as we know it in the pod/cave/;) feature in the first picture. You can place a green Totem in the crack on the right side here if you feel it's needed. This next section is fairly unremarkable and straightforward. Thin hands crack just below a mini roof will also take green totem cams and a purple up high. Once you pull this mini roof and gain the layback crack which also takes green totems climb up to just below the final roof/crux. Scamper over this buldge and then clip the anchors.

I found no evidence of previous ascents on this line. I'm not sure if it shares the original start of gym droids or what. I cut out a large poison oak bush halfway up this thing and am assuming that is what kept this from being climbed. If some one else has the F.A. let me know and I can change the name/F.A..
