Description
I would highly recommend doing the Brian of K or Johnston's Arete' over this route if you want to climb this feature. I named it Bacon Strip because the bolt placements looked to be similar to a poop stain in your undershorts but much to my chagrin, some folks think it's the bee's knees and have given it star-studded accolades. This route was put up by an unknown and is a variation of Barrel O Fun. It starts on the first two bolts of Barrel and then veers off left a bit to gain the arete'? I'm not sure if these bolts were meant for the arete' or if the intended route is supposed to go up the face to the right of the arete'? The clipping stances are awkward when sticking to the arete' and they are a bit run out. At the top it veers back to the right to access the chains for Barrel.
