This year’s closure area has been changed to allow hiking on the regular climber’s trail off FR 522. The Middle Area, South End, and the Southern Walls are closed to all access. Only the North End remains open to climbing.
Start off on gothic features at an undercut to small tricky holds in the little left facing dihedral. Soon enough there is a series of jugs in the seam. Move right onto slabby face and small hand and foot holds. Boulder one move to more jugs and a natural break at a conspicuous arête feature. Climb up dihedral until you can move left onto the arête. Scamper up to the hanging chain anchors.
