Description

Pull the ledge below and a bit left of the route. Start on the ledge. Decent runout between bolt 3 and 4. Fairly crimpy route. Mind you're feet and you'll be in better shape. Fun, tall (for the GB) route. One tough move below bolt 4.

Location

Rightmost route on Kingdom of Ging Wall--directly right of 'Ging.

Protection

5 bolts. Sport anchors

I'm not really sure why this route gets the PG13 safety rating on MP and the PG safety rating in the guidebook. The hard move is right above the third bolt and once you make the move you gain a good stance to clip from. A fall here wouldn't be bad. Just a normal lead fall. Is the bolt slightly farther from the bolt below compared to other Austin sport routes? Yes. But that's usually the norm at other crags and again, I don't believe the fall would be harmful at all. Don't let the safety grade prevent you from getting on this route. It is a fun and technical climb. Jul 14, 2016
