Description

A short problem with a crux power move at the end to a solid ledge. Start squatting down on good holds and move onto a series of positive slots above and traverse right to a left hand crimp and right hand horn-like hold and setup for the crux move.

Location

Problem is on same wall as Hanks, but to the far left of that wall, near oak tree with gnarled root. (Often overlooked)

Protection

Landing spot has tree root and the ground slopes down hill, so a pad with a spotter is recommended for added confidence.

Beta Details

A short problem with a crux power move at the end to a solid ledge. Start squatting down on good holds and move onto a series of positive slots above, cut feet and shift position to a far right foot. Far right hand reach, delicate back flag and left hand bump.

Setup with left hand on decent crimp and right hand on horn-like hold, right foot on, power move to finish ledge and send.

Fun climb. Crux move seems height-dependent. Felt like V4, but I could see how it would feel like V5 for shorter folks. May 11, 2018
