Access Issue: Red Rock RAIN AND WET ROCK: The sandstone is fragile and is very easily damaged when wet. Details

Description

Climb the left approach pitch (5.6) to a large bowl with an anchor, then take the left bolt line up a narrow rib of rock. Delicate moves at the top of this rib prove to be the crux, with easy terrain following to an anchor.

Location

Rappel with one 60m rope.

Protection

Bolts to chains.

A nice warm up but nothing memorable. If you don't like the spacing between the bolts up high, there is a crack that will take medium gear. Feb 28, 2013

Very nice route, with a good amount of climbing on it. The bolts are a little spacy, but not too bad. Dec 26, 2017
