Description

A left-slanting crack system. Not really desperate at all. I don't know where the name came from.

Location

Start 6 feet left of Upper Kor's. Route 11 in the photo.

The online guide says that Gary Clark gave this route its name (implying he did the FA?).
This route seems to be a minor variation to the left variation of . The online guide shows Kor's Dog going up the left side of the bulging low block, and then jogging left and ascending the left side of the crack system above. Build a gear anchor on top.
I found the left side of the low block to be a reachy awkward move (and I'm 6'-3"), but it protects well. The rest is straightforward, but I didn't find the layback mentioned in the online guide.
Beverly does not mention KDog; Jackson's topo seems to merge KDog and Desperate.
