Protect Access in Owens River Gorge! Details

Climb up the slab with a difficult starting sequence.

At the 6th bolt the climbing becomes much steeper, but with good holds. Follow these until a move left allows for a good flake to be reached.

What follows is the crux rightwards traverse to the anchors. A good exposed finish to the climb.

Located in the middle of the Left wall.

13 bolts, 2 mussy hooks anchor

Great climb and even better now the anchor has been moved. Nov 9, 2017

As on May 25, 2015 the last bolt is equipped with a fixed chain and binner. Use it as a directional if cleaning on descend. May 26, 2015
Great climb! Note that the spring on the gate of one of the mussy hooks was broken as of October 2014, so it wasn't closing properly. Oct 19, 2014
Fantastic route. Cleaning the top 3 draws was a pain though. Best to have your partner clean on TR as the second. Jul 8, 2012

this thing is siiick! really classic with a variety of movement and quite a bit of distance for a 5.9. and the rail traverse up high is sweet exposure. might want to leave one of the last two bolts clipped as a directional May 28, 2011
