Description

A great 5.7 hand crack. The start is tough, especially when wet. I used a belayer's shoulder. One could also A0 through the first 5 feet.

Location

Take the Valley Trail south from the Burgers and Fries Main wall until you come to a residence, the carapace of an old pick-up truck, and stairs down. This route is to your left, the stairs down lead to Alexis Cracks, the residence is a good reason to stay quiet, and I can't comment on the truck.

Protection

Mostly large nuts and cams to 3 inches. Bolted anchor at the top.

The route has bolted top anchors with rap hardware. The start of this is 5.10+, while the rest is 5.7ish. Also looks like there is a fun, short, thin, alternate crack start to the left. Sep 30, 2017

I am pretty sure this route actually has chain anchors at the top as of June 30, 2015. Jul 5, 2015
