Description

I know that the name is not correct (sorry whoever put this up). I was trying to give somewhat of a description of the route.

Location

This climb is to the right of the three slabs that culminate with the Double O Slab.
Hike up the gully as if you were giong to climb the lower slab when you get about 100 yds. from the slabs themselves look to the right for the "Layed-Over Chimney".

Protection

It has been a while since I've climbed it, but I believe there are about 5 or 6 bolts and the anchor.

Hey Travis. Steve M. put this up and he is calling it Ten Second High. Maybe you could edit that name in. Also, if you're back any time this spring, let's go up and take a look at Mary's Bust, see what you think of that crack in the head wall. Feb 17, 2007

Hey Allen this is the climb I was talking about. Good to see that the guys that actually put it up had something to say! It's always nice to know the history of the climbs, "I think." (Carl, Caddyshack)
I really had fun doing this climb excellent addition to the BTC fellas, thanks.

I thought the start was about 11b, and I don't really have a name. Nov 26, 2006

That would be great. I have been spending a lot of time in the area working routes, I want to try this one. Also, I can't remember, is it you who bolted the route up the center of the lower slab face? If so, what is its name and what did you rate it. I followed it behind Pat Ackerson and found it to be 11 or so. Nov 26, 2006
Yes it is, then it cuts left out of the picture at small ledge which is hard to see in the picture. I may have a picture with the route, if I do, I'll post it. Nov 24, 2006

Steve, you recently added "The Coal Room". Is the start visible in the upper left of this photo? I couldn't tell for sure by the description. allen Nov 24, 2006
Nice to see this added. We named this 10-Second High (my son just turned ten, and it is pretty short). I don't mind the name given either. I rated this 5.8+, but it might be more like 5.9 or .10a, whatever. A #0 TCU at the start is pretty handy, and a #2 TCU at the top, in a horizontal to continue on the face - rather than stepping around left. Nov 22, 2006

Travis, I added the photo. I think this is the climb your are refering to. If not I'll delete the photo. allen Nov 6, 2006

I tried to include a picture as well, but I couldn't figure it out. I'll try to get it in here as soon as possible. Sep 10, 2006
