Access Issue: Red Rock RAIN AND WET ROCK: The sandstone is fragile and is very easily damaged when wet. Details

Romper Room climbs the middle of the rectangular patch of black varnished rock to a two bolt anchor just under a roof. Follow cracks and flakes to the top. This route features more liebacking than its neighbor, Doobie Dance.

Standard rack up to 4"

Great finger sized pro most of the way. I did not find it loose or hollow. Dec 2, 2009
Fun, fun route. Well worth checking out. Apr 24, 2012

I enjoyed more that doobie dance. Both are worth doing. Good pro on both. Used a BD#4 on both routes, not needed but super easy. Oct 10, 2013

This route is the best of a series of great moderate single pitch trad lines. Romper Room is a solid area to check out if you're looking for a more low key afternoon. Plus you've got Lotta Balls wall nearby for some bigger moderates. Routes get sun mid-day, but move into the shade in the mid- to late afternoon. Agree that this is better than Doobie Dance, but both are worth hitting. Apr 14, 2015

What a fun route. Easier than the 5.6 to the climber's left. I saw, and clipped, two fixed pieces. Apr 7, 2019
