Description

This is a nice route but the gear is a little funky(Hard to place WELL)

But it has...Great location, Beautiful Views, & Sweet Climbing. What more could you want?

Protection

Placing gear before the roof creates a LOT of drag...

~SO~

Be creative with your runners or go no gear till you get past the overhang

Went back and climbed this route for the second time this weekend. I remember getting good gear before pulling the bulge the first time (like Craig says, hard to place well). In Burt's photo I think it is hidden by my body.

This time I totally missed the gear, and just pulled through. The second time is not always more competent than the first! Oct 3, 2011

The gear on this was definitely difficult to place. Every time I thought I had a good piece coming it wound up being crap. Try not to fall on this one. Aug 25, 2009
