Description Suggest change

This is the chimney that's tucked in behind the Great Tower on the south side. There are many harder options you can climb, but to keep it at about 5.2 start in the right corner at the bottom and once you get almost up to the wide chimney and keyhole, step left and go up easier holds. The wide chimney itself is a good climb but harder than 5.2.

(This is #20 in S/M, and is also named South Chimney in Knower)

Location Suggest change

Approaching from below, go around the south (left) side of Great Tower and look at the back side. You'll see an inside corner and crack that leads up to a wide chimney. If you're standing in the right spot you'll see a keyhole at the back of the chimney where you can see all the way thru to the north.

Protection Suggest change

Bring a pair of #3 cams for the initial crack (crux) and some double-length slings for chockstones/trees further up.
