SPECIAL NOTICE: due to nesting condors the Machete Ridge area may be closed, from Dos Equis / Corona on west face then west around the south side to The Hideout including the popular Old Original. Check the NPS and Friends of Pinnacles websites for further information.

Description

Shady area with superb rock! Great, well protected routes with new bolts! Props to all the folks who took the time to develop a great new area.

Getting There

Uphill from the trail, 50m before the short tunnel which is encountered just before the High Peaks Trail starts it's final switchbacks to the top of the ridge.
