Description
Climbing areas scattered across the ridges, valleys and plateaus of the northeastern parts of PA, including the Lehigh Valley, the Poconos, and many state public lands. Allentown, Scranton, Stroudsburg and Wilkes Barre are some larger towns here. Smaller towns also often cater to tourists in many of these scenic destinations.
The Gap's multi-pitch trad routes, and the Narrows' reliable winter ice, are some of the tallest climbing lines in the state.
