Description

An awesome 90' tall east facing overhanging granite monolith high above the River Wall. I can almost guarantee you'll be alone up here. The face gets sun in the morning till about 1pm. Five sport routes are up here but 2 are projects and one has a broken bolt. That leaves 2 routes to do. Unsure of what the status of the projects are but they've been there awhile but still have red tape. Not much to warm up on with all the routes checking in at 12c or harder.

Getting There

The trail to Old Yellar is pretty non-existent. Hike straight up the hill above the parking lot and then skirt above the River Wall cliffs. Then the Old Yellar Dome should be easily seen in the distance. Total hike is about 25 minutes.
