DescriptionThere are several good climbing areas in the Reno - Carson City area. Getting ThereFrom points east, Interstate 80 is best. From Northern and Central California, either Interstate 80 or Highway 50 will do. Interstate 80 will take you past Donner Summit. If you come by way of I80, take Highway 395 south to Carson City. Highway 50 will take you past Lover's Leap, through South Tahoe and into Carson City.
