Getting There
1. Head west on NV-431 (Mt Rose Hwy) 5.4 mi
2. Turn right at N Timberline Dr 1.2 mi
3. Slight left at NFD 049 Rd 1.8 mi
There will be a pull out on your left. If you get to the steep hill that does a bunch of switch backs, you went to far. From this hill you can easily see the rocks though.
There will be a fairly new (as of 5/17/2020) wooden bridge crossing the creek. Cross the bridge and turn RIGHT there will be a couple of rock cairns marking the under developed trails leading up the hill. You'll come to a rock slide area. Do not go to the top of the rock slide! There isn’t much up there. Turn right at the dead tree in the slide and it will take you around the fist rock face where you'll find a trail to the main climbing face.
If the road is closed, it’s about 2 miles from the parking lot below to the bridge. If you take the walking/biking trail, do not cross the bridge you'll end up on the correct side of the creek.
