Aug 27, 2023 · Follow. Followed all pitches because my more experienced partner wanted to lead. Happy to oblige. This was my biggest climb to date and it was a GREAT time. P4 was intimidating at first site but trusting the feet and taking time to find the holds it was sent & over before I knew it. We had 2 parties following and lowering from the last pitch got crowded. Simul-rapped the first 3 pitches with gri gris which was a hell of an experience. Super efficient, super dangerous. Don’t recommend “testing” this method ever.

Aug 13, 2023 · Lead / Redpoint. Learning to fly. First multi-pitch AND lead. HOT day to climb in a tank top (like an idjut - sun burnt to a crisp, lesson learned). Got my partner and me up & down both pitches safely.

Aug 4, 2023 · Lead. End of long day climb (after easy lunch gym sesh). Didn’t have mental game going for me. Got to first crux-y move, found polished footholds, realized energy levels weren’t appropriate. Called it. Down-climbed & cleaned. Poop on a stick. At least I got out. Now I want it more. 5th lead ever.
