Rising Moons
Oct 24, 2023 · Lead. With Cooper. Coop’s 2nd multipitch. Took about 1hr20 to get to route; 1 hour back though missed some trails. I placed 1 cam on 1st pitch, 1 cam and 2 nuts on 2nd pitch, and 1 cam on 3rd pitch, but I would’ve been fine not using any protection at all. Wanted to put some on for Cooper.

Space Case
Jun 2, 2023 · Follow. Chad on lead. Went straight up to tree belay. I struggled mightily at first bolt, falling and failing numerous times in same spot. We did this route after I lead Head Case, except that I got lowered from first bolt after finding no decent handholds after first bolt. Chad then went up and couldn’t find any either, and down-climbed, which made me feel better.

Hop Route
May 8, 2023 · Follow. Chad on lead. 1st climb with RN Chad. I was bummed I didn’t lead 2nd or 3rd pitch, but it was first time climbing in quite awhile. 1st pitch tricky for new leader.

Sweets to the Sweet
Apr 8, 2022 · Lead / Flash. 4th climb of the day. Arzu led. I then led with Arzu’s draws already in place. Easy, fun, quick.

To Grunt and Sweat
Apr 8, 2022 · Lead / Onsight. 2nd climb of the day. I led. Got pretty pumpy on lower half, with forearms quickly burning up, but I didn’t “take”. Easier above. Arzu then led using the draws already in place. We were then planning to do another 5.8 but I decided I’d had enough pump for the day (my first day climbing in nearly a year). I belayed next to dude who was self-belaying and then two women from NYC who I impressed with my knowledge of the ‘Gunks’.
