Description Suggest change

Great fun! Climb up into the slabby groove crack. And move with ease up to the steeper wall. Continue up through sequential layback edges to the base of the scooped bowl feature. Slab climb up and left along the edge of the scoop and continue up as the wall steepens to a slight invert. Tackle a crux lip encounter with a mandatory mantle to clip the anchor.

I am very confident in the quality of this route. The granite is excellent, the movement is engaging, the rope line is just right IMHO. The grade however, I am less sure of. It could be a hard 5.11 or a low end 5.12. It will likely be harder for shorter climbers and harder in warm sunny conditions. The question is whether the final Boulder problem is V3 or V4. I posted it as 5.12 because I’d rather be generous than be a sandbagger. So come check it out to confirm the grade or downgrade it to 5.9+! Or is that an upgrade haha.

About 100 feet to the right of the striking crack of Journey to Lost World. Follow the cliff line down a little path through a tunnel of trees until you are deposited in a little alcove at the base of the route.
