Description Suggest change

This is the most climbed classic in this sector.

Historically sent near the beginning and end of each session for many climbers of all generations. 1000’s of ascents.

Traverse of the Impossible Block and across to Beginners Crack. (6b)

Also common to traverse Impossible Block and rope up or free solo Swayback Layback or Swollen Head. (6b-6c+)

You’d also have to include traversing Impossible and climbing the Backside of Impossible Arête here too. (7a+)

The left hand pull and across Buckets of Blood and the stem across the chimney is ingrained muscle memory to many climbers.

Location Suggest change

Start at Barnacle Face outside SE corner or warm up with a traverse of the X Face. Continue around and across Impossible Block on high tech beta and crank over to Beginners or up.
