Jungle Cliffs, East

Overhanging edge 12 m right of Beginner’s crack.

Lieback the overhanging arete facing the Potomac River, with slopers and small feet. Encounter the crux at the top, lurching and latching the top jug!  Spin left, and top out. Sit start is same grade.
Add "direct" finish for 5.12, contrived, or layback slabby side for less value. This slabby side is a 70’s variation of an older route from the 1940's (5.10-)

Location

Overhanging edge right of Beginners crack (12m)

Protection

Top Rope, and after top roping, 3rd class. Would be a good ground up with mats, but crux is the top.
