Description Suggest change

Stem, layback, and jam your way up this beauty of a corner crack.

Start in the easy chimney that is shared with Thunder Crack. Step left and layback through the left-leaning lower corner, pull a strenuous move to get established in the upper corner, and jam the crack (fingers to hands) to the top. As you near the top of the corner, the flake of Stegosaurus Butte-y converges in and you approach a small roof. Stegosaurus Butte-y continues up the left side of this roof. I instead went right, pulled over one final strenuous bulge (commit and you will find good holds above), and finished at the Thunder Crack anchors.

Location Suggest change

Shares obvious chimney start with Thunder Crack.

Protection Suggest change

As G as can be. Nuts, double set cams from fingers to 2", single 3", and optional large piece for the chimney will be more than enough.

I placed a #5 in the chimney, you might find a spot for a #4. Chimney is easy + secure, but it can be damp so having protection is nice.
