Description
A long, remote route on Baker's Northeast flank. Start at the Baker ski area and begin by heading up to Artist Point, then past Table Mountain and along Ptarmigan Ridge to The Portals. From a good camp location here, drop down onto the Rainbow Glacier, then onto the Park Glacier while heading straight up towards the Park Glacier Headwall and the Cockscomb. Find the easiest path through crevasses and past the headwall to reach the summit.
