Description
This route is a good afternoon warm up prior to commencing a more committing day after staying in the hut or as an easy add on to a morning of climbing. Follow the snow ramp up to the left, turn right and scramble across the ridge toward the refuge. There is one down climb rated 4b (about 5.6-5.7). Can be done easily in mountain boots. A few slings from a standard alpine rack could be used for protection although likely unnecessary. Simul climb or solo. Possible to descend the down climb with a short rappel. Route ends on the refuge terrace.
