Description

2112 has easy, left-trending climbing to C1 on big holds to a stance at C2. Harder climbing with great hand holds and smeary feet gets you to C4. Cruise past the smallish corner to a bigger corner, and then move past the small overlap to C9. Some thinker moves get you to the anchors.

Location

At the 2150 Wall, start just left of Emperor's Robe.

Protection

10 clips to chained anchors.

I didn't think there could be any more quality additions to The Bank. This route was honestly one of the best 9s at Shelf. Thanks, Michael and Rachel! Nov 2, 2015

Fun route! Glad it's here and I will do it again....
BUT, what's up with the epoxied bolts? It's my understanding that it's pretty well-established that sealing mechanical bolts in with epoxy/glue/caulk does not prevent water getting in but prevents water that is seeping from within the rock from draining from the hole, hence worsening corrosion issues. The developer has established numerous routes without the epoxy, so I am wondering about this recent trend. Care to elaborate, Michael? Feb 28, 2016

I am very glad to see all the effort put in establishing all these great new routes, kudos to the developers, but I must agree with Derek's statement. It will also now be next to impossible to ever reuse the existing holes many years into the future should they ever need reequipping. Mar 3, 2016
