Description

This is the obvious set of 3 lines above Cascade lakes on the West side.

Left flow: short moderate gully, WI3+

Middle flow: 2 vertical steps, WI4-

Right flow: Sustained off-vert pillar, WI4

By the end of the season, some more options may exist as the lines co verge on each other.

Location

Park at the first Pitchoff cliffs pullout and walk North up the lake until the climbs can be glimpsed above. Hike up the approach slope.

Note: The base of the area is somewhat slabby and may be covered in snow or just a sheet of ice. It is a good idea to put crampons on at the lake and maybe have a couple of screws out to establish a belay where the ice gets steep. If you begin all the way at the bottom, two pitches may be required
