Start with a low crux below the first bolt. Then work your way up the easy low angle face on big holds and big feet. This route is pretty sandy.

On the right/middle of the wall just left of the easy trad route Kate's 1st Trad Lead 5.1

2 or 3 bolts with rap rings.

This will seem goofy (the whole wall) if you're an experienced climber at all, but for newbies and especially small kids this is a great area. Jul 5, 2010

If you're coming on a weekend, expect there to be a big troop of screaming kids to be hanging out right here. Aug 17, 2010

Taught my first time climber friend how to lead belay at the cliff base so I could put draws up on this one, then she got her first lead climb on it. Jun 2, 2014

Great first outdoor lead for my whole group, including teaching our friends who came along with no previous lead experience. Boring, but couldn't ask for an smoother intro. Oct 25, 2018
