Description

The right side of the upper tier of the Pet wall is overhanging and stacked with 12+ and harder routes. This route, at the left of the edge of the overhanging section, is one of the few exceptions. Several dynamic moves to start, and some heel hooking later make this a gymnastic and fun climb, and contrasts sharply with the majority of the other routes 12a and below at the Pet, which tend to be vertical edging affairs.

Location

Located at the left edge of the overhanging section of the upper tier of the Pet wall. The climb starts with a little throw to an obvious edge.

Protection

Five bolts to a two bolt anchor. Stick clipping the first bolt is recommended (you can clip the second one too...).

Not necessarily dynamic. I pulled 1 deadpoint, barely... depends on chosen holds and feet. This would be a 4-star boulder problem for the movement, but it is a little to short to be a classic route. Jul 3, 2009
