A great romp for the warmer days since you'll only be in the sun for the last pitch. A fun climb, but kind of an adventure route. Jul 19, 2011
Super fun route and great way to get out of the sun! The first climb ever at the Leap! Pitch 2 is great fun, solid chimneying and chockstones to sling if the old ones aren’t there still; make sure to extend the piton once out on the face. It’s a bit runout to the belly ledge and I was definitely shooting in the dark as to where it was. Follow the topo and you’ll bo okay. Pitch 3 had some bomber jams for the first 40 ft and then I ran out the rest. The gully is dirty but easy and the “wild stem” at the top is great fun and very exposed! Possible pro near it but I didn’t bother to look, bring the feet up and pull right around the block staring at your face. A great finish to this little adventure!!! Aug 10, 2018
