Description Suggest change

In 2022, a climbing closure at Merriam Woods pushed a ragtag group of developers to seek new rock—and they found it at Exile. This striking cliffline now boasts a growing collection of high-quality routes and continues to reveal new gems. A must-visit for anyone exploring the area.

Note: This location has also been referred to as the Mount Osceola Trail Crags on Mountain Project. The original page created by Bradley White currently remains for historical reference, but due to recent development and the addition of new sub-areas, this updated page serves as the current, active resource.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at the Mt. Osceola Trailhead on Tripoli Road. Hike up the main trail for approximately 15–20 minutes until you cross the first proper stream (may be dry in the late summer/fall). Shortly after the stream, look for a small cairn and a tree marked with a couple of white blazes on the left side of the trail. This is the start of the climbers' trail.

Turn left onto the climbers' trail and head uphill. You may pass trees marked with blue flagging tape. The trail becomes more defined as you continue.
