This section of Main Cliff contains a variety of fantastic, long climbs ranging from moderates to more challenging lines. The climbing is technical in nature up quality rock. The views from this location are spectacular.


This section of cliff gets sun until late afternoon.

Getting There Suggest change

If you are walking in along the stream trail that comes from the main Gate, after just under 10 minutes of strolling you will get to a notable crooked tree. Take a left and head toward the hillside. There are a some cairns and the majority of the way you will see yellow flagging on trees. This leads you up what we call Main Cliff Gully. Just as you start entering into the gully proper you will see the south facing Winter Wall down and to your right. Continue up the gully towards the spectacular roof. There are ropes to assist you up the gully. Once you reach a notably overhung wall, walk left along the cliff base to the Stolen Buttress.
